A project that runs twice a week on a mon 6 - 8pm and thurs 7 - 9pm. This was established as an outcome of being approached by Northwards housing and GMP due to issues on estates in the North Manchester area primarily Harpurhey and Collyhurst. Northwards identified a group of young people that were causing anti social behaviour within their communities,  all of their parents had all received tenancy warnings as a result of the young people's behaviour. Young people aged from 8 - 16. They agreed to fund 3 coaches for us to kick start the project. We also have 5 regular volunteers. We run a range of activities within the 2 sessions, gym, football, roller skating, scooters, mountain biking, forest school (building fires, barbecues, making tools, making tents etc.). The young people get a meal during the session which gives them a chance to socialise and relax. We include rewards, this is for the most attendance and most improved behaviour etc. We have given; football boots, tickets to football matches, bike wheels and bits to repair the young persons bike, Factory youth zone memberships, take away nights and any local events such as singer of the year competition.

Teenage Kicks has been running for 15 weeks, initially Northwards funded us for 8 weeks however due to the success of the project they have extended funding until Christmas.

We have had our first reward trip where we took 10 young people to the Go Ape tree top adventure at Delamere forest, this was an amazing day and gave the young people an opportunity to be part of a team and work together. This was on 25th June 2017.

Our next reward trip is in the planning process where we hope to take a group of the young people camping - we aim to do Thai during the summer holidays. The program will continue to run twice a week during all school holidays excluding Christmas.
